We’re looking for a Chronic Disease Nurse with a focus on Women’s Health to join our team in Ntaria.

  • Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in a primary care or similar setting
  • Commitment to integrating Aboriginal values in practice
  • Willingness for, and understanding of, remote area work; and

The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and bring exceptional clinical skills, a proactive adaptable attitude, and a genuine respect for diverse patient backgrounds, we want you!

Responsibilities

As a Remote Area Nurse you will assess patient needs, administer treatments such as wound care, and promote health initiatives. Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe practices and contribute to quality improvement efforts. Embrace a pivotal role where your expertise enhances comprehensive patient care and professional development.
Provide Culturally safe, comprehensive primary health care to Aboriginal Women in the Ntaria Community. The Chronic Disease Nurse conducts Women’s health checks and facilitates care in early detection of chronic disease. You will operate as a Remote Area Nurse with an incorporated responsibility of case managing Women.
