THE TEAM:
Ararat is a moderate sized church (membership 190) but a relatively small employer. You will work together with the church’s minister, the deacons (also known as Trustees), a Children youth and families ministry lead and several Baristas/kitchen assistants and a cleaner. We encourage team working and the postholder will participate in a weekly staff meeting. You will meet regularly with your line manager for support and assistance and there will be an annual appraisal. The postholder will have use of a shared office space.
The postholder is not required to have a personal faith in Christ, though this would be an asset, but is expected to be fully respectful of those who do and to operate within the ethos of a Christian organisation.
Applicants are requested to submit a CV along with a letter summarising their reasons in applying for the post and how they meet the requirements of the Job Description. Short-listed candidates will be notified and invited for interview, at which there may be a practical skills assessment.
For further information or to submit application documentation, please contact the Church Secretaries
