CHURCH BUILDINGS PROJECT SURVEYOR

Hours: Full time – 35 hours/week
Fixed term contract until 31st December 2025, then anticipated subject to funding to become permanent position.
Salary: £40,000 pa pro rata
Location: Based in our Office in North Bristol
We are looking to appoint a Project Surveyor to work within our talented Church Buildings Team here at the Diocese of Bristol ! This new role is key to assisting in the delivery of our Transforming Church. Together Strategy.

Responsibilities

Your role as project surveyor would be predominantly based around project management with integrated technical knowledge. The priority and responsibility of the role will be for the Focussed Support Initiative (FSI) projects within the strategy.
The project work is diverse covering rural, urban, modern and historic Church buildings, requiring improvements, and reordering to meet the missional objectives. There will be a variety of different sized and challenging projects so your project management and surveying skills are essential to achieving longer term outcomes for the benefit of the churches and communities that they serve.
We’d be delighted to hear from you if you have great interpersonal skills, experienced in project surveying and demonstrate creativity in your approach to work to respond to the needs of this role.
