This is a part-time position: 8 to10 hours per week. Currently published office hours are
Tues-Wed 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Both days of the week and hours are flexible and can
be adjusted. This position is under the supervision of the Pastor.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
All word processing that needs to be done (computer - Microsoft Word); publication of
the monthly “Spire” newsletter; preparing (with input from pastor), copying and sending
electronically the weekly Sunday bulletin, keeping the computer information on the
Church Windows financial program accurate and up to date.
Financially, receiving bills and preparing those checks, as well as payroll for Church
employees; scheduling the church calendar events, meetings, and activities, in
cooperation with Property Chairperson, and others involved; inventory and order all
church supplies; provide whatever assistance is required by the Pastor, Moderator,,
Director of Christian Education, Clerk, Treasurer and Committee Chairperson(s).
Key, essential aspects of the position are requirements for computer knowledge, basic
bookkeeping skills and a willingness to learn.
In addition to the above, detailed duties, a very important aspect of the Administrative
Assistant responsibilities is ministering to each person who enters the Church office or
calls on the telephone. In some cases, the Administrative Assistant may be the only
contact a person has with the Church, so it is important to convey a caring and
welcoming attitude to everyone..

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a diverse skill set encompassing front desk responsibilities, real estate administrative tasks, and exceptional customer service skills. Experience with QuickBooks, project coordination, and general administrative duties is highly desirable. ## Duties - Manage the front desk by greeting visitors and answering incoming calls - Provide administrative support such as scheduling appointments, organizing files, and handling correspondence - Assist with project coordination by tracking deadlines and ensuring tasks are completed on time - Utilize QuickBooks for basic accounting tasks such as invoicing and expense tracking - Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently - Coordinate office events and meetings as needed ## Qualifications - Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in real estate or a similar field - Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) - Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Experience working in a medical receptionist or dental office setting is a plus Join our team as an Office Administrator to contribute to our office’s efficiency and success!
