Position: Pharmacy Assistant
Site: Church Street Pharmacy
Location: 10631 96 St, Edmonton, AB
Job Type: Regular, Full time
Pay: $19-$24 Hourly
Pharmacy Hours
Mon–Fri: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Open Saturdays & Sundays

Mint Health + Drugs seeks a Pharmacy Assistant to join our dynamic and growing team. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist to prepare and dispense drugs
  • Assess new and repeat prescriptions
  • Support pharmacists in patient counseling and education
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
  • Document and maintain accurate records
  • Promote healthy living and immunization programs
  • Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones and managing paperwork
  • Communicate with customers and other healthcare professionals
  • Provide customer service to patients, addressing inquiries and processing transactions

Education & Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Pharmacy Assistant certificate is considered an asset

Experience & Skills

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Clear communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proven experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a related role
  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations and medications is an asset
  • Experience with Kroll software is an asset
  • Ability to adhere to regulatory compliance
  • Experience in pharmacy management and leadership is an asset
