This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a CI/CD Engineer in India. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to work at the intersection of development and operations, managing large-scale CI/CD environments and ensuring smooth, automated deployment pipelines. You will play a crucial role in maintaining production CI operations, monitoring performance metrics, and driving process improvements to increase efficiency and reliability. The position emphasizes hands-on technical execution, troubleshooting complex deployment issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize CI pipelines. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, automation-driven engineers with strong scripting skills and experience in managing large, distributed CI/CD systems. Accountabilities Manage and maintain 500+ CI environments, monitoring deployments and tracking KPIs. Handle branch merges, create CI jobs, and review test coverage to ensure software quality. Analyze CI metrics and assign failures to the appropriate owners for resolution. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines following engineering plans and best practices. Drive automation initiatives to improve deployment efficiency and reduce operational costs. Track and resolve lab environment issues, including managing HaaS requests and resource allocation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support deployment reliability and observability. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of experience (minimum 5 years) managing large-scale CI/CD environments. Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python. Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and branch management. Experience with KPI tracking, test coverage analysis, and CI metrics. Strong troubleshooting and triage skills for deployment and environment issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a distributed team environment. Preferred: experience with HaaS or lab infrastructure, Windows build environments, containerization/orchestration tools, and CI performance monitoring tools.
