Description
CI (Continuous Improvement) - As a Subject Matter Expert in plant, lead and facilitates deployment of CI culture and promote many structured problem solving events, including Kaizens, RIEs, etc. throughout the plant using Lean and Six Sigma Tools and Continuous Improvement Framework. Assists the Plant CI Leaders in training, deployment and assessment processes. Deploy and foster CI culture including Operation excellence so that improvement activities linked to High 5 can activated throughout the plant. i4.0 - As a site leader in plant, lead and facilitates deployment of i4.0 tools by identifying i4.0 tools to address issues and developing implementation roadmap and build a model line. Support the i4.0 tool leaders in training and deployment. Assist management and directs site in achieving CI/i4.0 targets & objectives. Teach a course, seminar or workshop on lean tools such as VSM, 5S+, Standardized Work, TPM, Set up Reduction, etc. and follow up training record of CI to ensure that all training is tracked to completion. Coordinates & facilitates activities of overall Plant Kaizen activities like VSM, RIE with introducing appropriate CI tools. Support and lead Validated assessment / self-assessment and development of an action plan. Lead to CI/i4.0 Council meetings Facilitate ECIS deployment Support EBS Pull deployment and various assessment such as OpA, ECIS Lead ECIS VSM, 5S+ and Standard Work events, Kaizen Events/RIEs/BPIs leveraging other Lean tools as needed Support Operation cost out project to drive meet a target Support and Participate in activities to improve Manufacturing processes Review standardized work related productivity including cycle time, required employees, takt time and process capacity Coordinates & facilitate activities of overall Plant i4.0 activities. Support to each i4.0 council as site leader. Support and participate in activities to deploy i4.0 tools. Support digital method utilization in each department management. Bachelors in Engineering, Technical Engineering or Science discipline. Strong team-building skills Strong organizational skills Knows the basic concepts of problem solving and analytical/ statistical techniques, including A3; 8D; Six Sigma; problem definition Sustainability of kaizen Lean (or Toyota Production System) spirit and tools (VSM, 5S+, STW, TPM, Set up Reduction, Pull, Problem Solving Kaizen, etc.) - Lean Tool Expert Understanding of Manufacturing and Business Processes Understanding of Total Work System Knowledge Interpersonal communication skills are essential for dealing with all levels of the organization. Must speak and write English as a primary or secondary language. Must have over 5 years in Lean and CI(Continuous Improvement) experience.
