JOB DESCRIPTION

We have an immediate opportunity for a continuous imporvement intern to join us at our diverse team. The Process Technician will be responsible for the assembly process in an assembly cell from set-up to testing.

Student in the final semesters (6th and above) of Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, or similar.
Technical Knowledge:
Lean Manufacturing Fundamentals (5S, Kaizen, VSM, SMED, etc.)
Basic knowledge of quality tools (Ishikawa, 5 Whys, Pareto, FMEA, etc.)
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint (pivot tables, charts, dashboards)
Preferred: Knowledge of Power BI, AutoCAD, or process mapping software.
Language: English - advanced

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Support process mapping and time and motion analysis.
  • Collaborate in identifying waste and areas for improvement.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects (5S, scrap reduction, efficiency improvements).
  • Document processes, procedures, and instructions.
  • Prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and track corrective actions.
  • Support the implementation of Lean tools and monitor results.
  • Assist in internal training or Kaizen events.
