As a Cigar Retail Specialist, you are not only selling premium branded cigars and accessories, but also works as an envoy linking your clients to a luxurious lifestyle. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a niche, traditional, and luxurious industry.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:

The rewards are substantial in this role. And you will be handing over your clients the products with highest level of exclusivity.
But you should also know that great reward comes with cost. You will be facing very steep learning curve as you will be facing hundreds of SKUs and you need to know them through out in a very short period of time. Within limited training time, you will have to be able to demonstrate your capabilities of being an expert in the industry you probably never heard of. You need to be professional sales person and excise you sales skill whenever needed to close the deal!

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engage with customers to understand their preferences and make tailored recommendations.
  • Accumulating and maintaining your own client base, and manage their accounts with care and attention
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to overall store performance.
  • On top of all trainings provided to you
  • Update your knowledge and turn them into sales language whenever new products arrive
  • Organize inventory and displays, and conduct regular stock takes.
  • Handle cash and EFTPOS payments accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the store and products daily
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance your expertise
  • Other ad hoc duties

If you excel in your role, there will be opportunities for advancement, including:

  • Placement in the upcoming Davidoff of Geneva official shop.
  • Hands-on training and periodic certifications from Davidoff.
  • Field trips to the Dominican Republic.
  • Potential to advance to store manager, area manager, or wholesale manager positions.
  • Involvement in new brand developments within the business
