At Canela, everything revolves around one thing: the perfect cinnamon roll. Freshly baked, soft, spiced, made with love, and always a little comforting. Our shop on Molsteeg, in the heart of Amsterdam, is where our rolls go straight from oven to hands, and where we brighten people’s day with smell, taste, and warmth.
We’re a young, artisanal bakery and shop, born from a love for baking and cinnamon. Our cinnamon rolls have quickly become a favorite among locals and international visitors. We’re now looking for someone who loves good vibes, service, and sweet smells as much as we do.

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a friendly, energetic shop assistant/salesperson to work in our Molsteeg location. You’ll be the face of Canela, making people feel welcome and cared for.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisting customers with orders and questions
• Presenting, packaging, and handing out cinnamon rolls
• Keeping the shop clean, cozy, and inviting
• Helping with light prep tasks (drinks, toppings, restocking)
• Thinking along about service and customer experience
• Cleaning the shop area, counter, and baking trays at the end of the day
