Description CIP Technician | 2nd Shift Shift/Schedule: 2nd Shift| M-F with some weekends 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm. Pay: Base= $25/hr. + $1.50 premium (+based on experience) Why join our team? Referral bonus program Tuition reimbursement HSA Medical plan option with annual company contribution Perks at Work – discounts on shopping, travel & more Proven continued business growth for future opportunities Position Overview Reporting to the Sanitation Manager, the CIP Operator is responsible for maintaining sanitation standards and completing Master Sanitation Schedule tasks in accordance with SSOPs, GMPs, safety procedures, and company policies. This role plays a key part in ensuring food safety, quality, and compliance throughout the facility. What You’ll Do: Perform CIP cleaning of filling machines and production equipment Clean walls, floors, ceilings, vents, piping, and exterior equipment surfaces Safely handle chemicals, sanitation tools, and steam-driven hot water hoses Respond to sanitation emergencies including spills and tank cleaning Operate ladders, scaffolding, scissor lifts, and COP tanks Perform chemical titrations and transport chemical drums as needed Follow HACCP, GMP, PPE, and all food safety procedures Complete sanitation documentation and maintain cleaning records Participate in trainings, meetings, and team activities Work independently while maintaining high sanitation standards Requirements What You’ll Need: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with limited supervision Ability to communicate and follow directions in English Ability to work extended shifts, weekends, and in physically demanding environments Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork High school diploma or equivalent preferred 1+ year of sanitation or cleaning experience preferred Food processing sanitation or chemical handling experience preferred
Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining sanitation standards by performing CIP cleaning of production equipment and facility surfaces. Ensures food safety and compliance by following SSOPs, GMPs, and maintaining detailed cleaning records.
