OVERVIEW

We are seeking a creative, energetic, and safety-focused Cirque Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in circus arts, acrobatics, or movement-based disciplines and a passion for inspiring students through unique physical expression. This role involves teaching skills such as aerial silks, juggling, balance, tumbling, and creative movement while fostering confidence, teamwork, and artistry.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in circus arts, gymnastics, acrobatics, or performing arts is strongly preferred.
• Background in teaching, coaching, or working with children and youth is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of safety practices in aerial and acrobatic training.
• Ability to engage students of all ages in a fun, encouraging way.
• CPR/First Aid certification is an asset.

• Teach a variety of cirque-inspired skills including aerial, acrobatics, balance, and creative performance.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for students of different ages and abilities.
• Ensure all safety practices are followed during classes and rehearsals.
• Encourage creativity, self-expression, and teamwork in a supportive environment.
• Provide constructive feedback to help students grow their technical and performance skills.
• Assist with showcases, recitals, or special events.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized teaching space.
