If so we may have an amazing opportunity for you!! Our prestigious client in Mississauga is looking for a dispatcher to join their growing team!
In this role you would be responsible for coordinating transportation activities to ensure efficient freight movement.
Principal Responsibilities
Directly supervise all city fleet drivers.
Responsible for pick up and delivery of freight to customer locations.
Coordinate work assignments, monitor performance.
Develop daily delivery plans and assign drivers and equipment to meet
Determine driver availability, and assign equipment according
Interacts with Dispatch Manager/ Terminal Manager to estimate peak delivery periods
Issues instructions relative to pick-up and delivery times for loads.
Provide guidance to drivers with customer complications, delays due to traffic and weather, and specific instructions on handling.
Utilize drivers efficiently to maximize performance to meet service standards.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

Highschool graduate or equivalent
3-5 years of experience in a dispatching role
Experience working with a large fleet
Proficient with computers and can learn new programs quickly
Strong customer service skills
Loves working in a face paced environment
Able to multitask with easy
Experience with TMW software (A bonus)
Job Types: Full-time
Shift : Days 9am-5:30pm
Location: Mississauga
Pay: $24/hour
