Position Summary:
Our Brampton Terminal is currently seeking a City Dispatcher to join the team!
The purpose of a City Dispatcher at Speedy Transport Group Inc. is to ensure efficient and cost-effective city operations. A successful candidate will ensure that all shipments are matched, manifested, processed and dispatched in a timely manner to uphold our high standards for customer satisfaction.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day city operations.
• Communicate with clients in a professional manner to meet their needs.
• Process loads to depart and arrive accurately and in a timely manner.
• Consolidate freight to maximize load factor and minimize loads.

Position Qualifications:

• Previous Dispatch experience is a preferred.
• Experience with MS Excel and Outlook is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience is a strong asset.
• Warehouse experience is an asset.
• Administration experience with excellent attention to detail is an asset.
• Ability to meet deadlines with high volumes of work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
