Job Title: City Manager, Korea Department: Retail Reporting to: Retail Manager, Korea As the City manager, you are responsible for sales, customer service and operational practices of Jimmy Choo Direct Operating Stores and Outlets (if any) in own region and supervise the Shop Manager/Assistant Shop Manager in own area. What you will do Supervise the Shop Manager / Assistant Shop Manager to operate the store through superior customer service, sales management, professional selling and effective staff management Manage the business on a day-to-day basis to increase sales and improve results through creative and effective use of all resources, including effective leadership and merchandise assortment Achieve business targets and execute initiatives as well as strategies to contribute to the growth of sales Aim to exceed customer expectations of service and products. Ensure store environments are consistently compelling and shopping experiences are inspirational through brand representations Work closely with Training Department to ensure that excellent customer service is delivered and maintained Create a proactive selling culture that focuses on building long term relationships through the conversion of walk-in customers into repeat clients Support the Shop Manager / Assistant Shop Manager to motivate and engage staff to achieve sales goals Manage and evaluate the performance of the team on an on-going basis to deliver individual, team and Company objectives Report to the superior to review merchandise assortment on a regular basis. Plan and take necessary steps to optimize stock level and stock mix to reflect sales, buying trends and customer demands Present merchandise in a manner consistent with standards, in order to maximize sales and merchandise turn Ensure proper inventory mix matching to market needs Instruct and supervise the Shop Manager / Assistant Shop Manager to deliver correct execution of operating procedures, including merchandise receipt, pricing, counts and sales Establish and implement action plans in co-operation with the superior to develop sales for each product category Be aware of local trading environment and its impact on our sales, including competitors’ trading activities Implement and follow proper visual presentation guidelines to project the brand image and benefit sales through presentation Support Visual Merchandising Department on timely window and interior display changes pro-actively to feature various new items and create excitement Responsible for all store operation duties including attendance, billing, daily reconciliation reports, bank statement and sales reports to head office and Retail Manager Implement group internal procedures and shrinkage control guidelines to prevent stock discrepancies Work closely with Retail Manager in terms of decisions and procedures relating to business issue made at the store level and provide clear and informative business review You'll need to have Minimum 8-10 years relevant experience in fashion retail industry in which at least 4-5 years at management level for Store Manager; for Assistant Store Manager, 6-7 years relevant experience in fashion retail industry in which at least 2-3 years at management level Good command of English with one local language is preferred Strong business acumen, sales-driven & service-oriented Strong leadership & interpersonal skills that able to lead and build good relationships with all employees Good team player and able to communicate well across all levels and parties Proactive, accountable, motivated, dynamic, responsible and patient — At Capri, we are all responsible for creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
