Description

DESCRIPTION

ISG is hiring a Civil Construction Engineer to join our Transportation and Public Works teams to enhance our expanding construction inspection, management, and administration services.
Our Transportation and Public Works teams serve MnDOT, County, and City clients throughout Minnesota and are comprised of folks in our Bloomington and St. Louis Park offices. We are a full-service, multi-disciplinary team, who perform award winning work in planning, design, survey, and construction.
You will collaborate closely with Joel Goodenough, Senior Project Manager, whose extensive knowledge of industry standards and outstanding customer service skills have enabled him to successfully lead some of the largest and most complex projects in Western Wisconsin. Additionally, you will work alongside Jake Guzik, PE, and Reese Sudtelgte, PE, both accomplished Civil Engineers.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

We’re seeking a construction professional with a strong foundation in public infrastructure administration. Experience with WisDOT standards and Civil 3D is a plus, but not required. What matters most is your technical proficiency, problem-solving ability, and collaborative mindset.
Whether you have a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience, you should be comfortable leading projects independently and contributing to team growth. A proven track record and solid references are essential.
This field-based role involves travel to job sites. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required. Our mobile-equipped vehicles keep you connected and supported on the go.
We value year-round construction staff and seek someone adaptable, proactive, and ready to take on new challenges—even beyond their comfort zone.
