We are looking to expand our team by adding an additional Civil Construction Manager to monitor and drive overall projects specializing in earthwork and utility piping operations. This individual will be responsible for managing field execution for scopes including grading, excavation, backfilling, storm drainage, water, and sanitary sewer systems. In addition to field leadership, this role is responsible for estimating and helping secure new work in the area, working closely with our project and leadership teams to maintain operational excellence and strong backlog. This individual must have at least 10 years experience with heavy civil construction with a focus on earthwork and utilities.

  • Lead field operations for excavation, grading, backfilling, and underground utility installation.
  • Supervise daily activities of foremen, operators, and crews.
  • Coordinate site logistics, schedules, materials, and subcontractor performance.
  • Ensure high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Estimate scopes of civil work and participate in the bidding process.
  • Support business development by helping identify and pursue new project opportunities.
  • Monitor and report jobs cost and productivity related to equipment, fuel, and labor.
  • Establish measurable KPIs for tracking performance.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, inspectors, and partners.
  • Promote safety and develop crew leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ Years experience in heavy civil construction with focus on earthwork and utilities.
  • Strong leadership and experience in project management responsibililites.
  • Experience Estimating civil scopes and participating in preconstruction.
  • Proficient in construction drawings and job site coordination.
  • Familiar with tools like HCSS, Procore, Bid2Win, P6, Blue Beam or similar project platforms.
  • OSHA 30 Preferred
  • Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is a plus.

EXPERIENCE AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
