QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a Construction Scheduler, ideally in the heavy civil sector.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project (required); experience with Primavera P6 or other scheduling tools considered an asset.
• Strong ability to create schedules with minimal guidance and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of civil construction methods, sequencing, and productivity rates.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate across project teams.
• Detail-oriented, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Greenfield Construction Ltd. is seeking an experienced Construction Scheduler to join our growing team. Based out of our Miramichi, New Brunswick office, the Scheduler will play a key role in planning and coordinating complex heavy civil projects across Canada. The successful candidate will prepare and maintain detailed schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation and providing accurate reporting to support project success. Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain baseline and updated project schedules using Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling software.
• Create initial draft schedules for heavy civil projects with minimal direction.
• Prepare resource-loaded schedules that incorporate labor, equipment, and materials.
• Build and maintain a master schedule to track multiple projects simultaneously.
• Monitor schedule progress, analyze variances, and provide regular updates and recommendations to project teams.
• Support project managers and site teams with short-term lookahead schedules and recovery plans as required.
• Contribute to bid/tender submissions by preparing preliminary schedules.
