Join us as a Civil Construction Specialist in the Dunedin Region, putting in the effort to complete general labouring tasks that help deliver work for our customers safely, on time, within budget, safely and to the highest quality standard.

In addition to the above you will be:

• Taking part in pre-start meetings and risk planning before starting work
• Reading and understand plans with a strong attention to detail
• Tying and placing reinforcing steel.
• Constructing falsework/formwork for concrete structures using wood, steel, or Form Systems.
• Pouring, placing, and finishing concrete to a high standard.
• Performing concrete spall repairs and other concrete repairs.
• Concrete cutting
• Operating handheld tools and equipment.
• Measuring and cutting materials.
• Working at heights or in trenches to complete the civil works (specific training is provide)

We’re looking for someone with:

• 4+ years of experience in concreting, civil precast, foundations or steel fixing work environment
• Full current Class 1 licence (needed on day one)
• Current Class 2 & W,T,R endorsements (we can help you get these if you don’t have them)
• Skills and experience in carpentry is desirable but not essential.
