About Us
At BAAC Construction, we are a growing leader in civil and utilities construction, delivering projects across Alberta and Western Canada. We specialize in shallow and deep utility installation, telecom infrastructure, and large-scale civil works. We are looking for a skilled Civil Construction Supervisor to oversee our field crews and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple crews, operators, and equipment on active job sites.
  • Coordinate daily schedules, workforce allocation, and project milestones.
  • Monitor budgets, track productivity, and support cost control efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Conduct daily toolbox talks, enforce site safety requirements, and manage all required permits.
  • Oversee shallow and deep utility installation with attention to quality and efficiency.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Field Superintendents, and Construction Managers to ensure alignment across all phases of the project.
  • Coordinate delivery of materials and ensure required equipment is available and maintained.
  • Report on project progress, issues, and risks to management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in civil construction, with supervisory or foreman experience.
  • Strong knowledge of shallow and deep utility installation practices.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple crews, equipment, and schedules effectively.
  • Solid understanding of construction budgets, productivity tracking, and cost controls.
  • Strong commitment to safety and experience leading toolbox talks and enforcing safety programs.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills for coordinating with both crews and management.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to various project sites.
