Markwell Group is expanding and currently seeking a suitable:
Civil Construction Supervisor/Project Manager (Commercial & Industrial Subdivisions)
The Civil Construction Supervisor oversees the on-site execution of commercial and industrial subdivision projects from initial earthworks to final handovers. This role ensures that all civil infrastructure—including roads, heavy-duty pavements, drainage systems, and major utility networks—is built safely, on time, within budget, and to precise engineering specifications.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, our ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in the following areas.
- Site Management & Supervision of on-site operations. Coordination of daily schedules. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications accurately.
- Infrastructure & Utility Installation. Supervise and oversee utility installation (Stormwater, sewer, water, electrical & telecommunications)
In addition to these attributes, the applicant will have demonstrated experience in Quality Assurance & Compliance, Safety, Health & Environment.
The applicant will have a minimum of 5+ years experience as a Civil Construction Supervisor, specifically working on moderate to large scale residential and commercial subdivisions, or major civil infrastructure.
Trade backgrounds, Certificates or Diploma in Civil Construction & Project Management will be highly regarded.
A minimum of an open "C" Class drivers license is required for this role, with machinery tickets and experience highly desirable but not essential.
