Civil Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced civil engineer with a passion for land development and construction delivery in Taupo.

The company provides comprehensive land development consultancy services, including:

• Development advisory
• Project management
• Civil engineering
• Surveying
• Planning

The projects range from large-scale master-planned communities and greenfield developments to complex brownfield projects and residential subdivisions.

About the Role

As a Civil Design Engineer , you will work closely with Senior Engineers, Project Leads, and the Construction Team to deliver high-quality engineering solutions across a diverse range of land development projects.

You will be responsible for supporting the design, documentation, contract administration, and construction phases of projects, ensuring technical excellence.

This role offers a great balance of office-based engineering design and on-the-ground project involvement, providing an excellent opportunity to further develop your technical and project delivery skills.

• Prepare engineering schedules, contract documentation, resource consent applications, and related project documentation.
• Support the delivery of civil engineering projects by ensuring contract administration activities are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Attend and facilitate project progress meetings with contractors, consultants, clients, and stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit Section 224(c) certification documentation and compliance submissions to local authorities.
• Coordinate resource consent processes and manage council interfaces as required.
• Prepare and submit building consent applications and compliance documentation.
• Monitor project programmes and assist in achieving project milestones, budgets, and quality objectives.
• Undertake civil engineering design and prepare drawings.
• Deliver technically sound designs that meet project requirements, timeframes, and budgets.
• Assist in planning and coordinating project implementation activities.
