Key responsibilities Deliver civil engineering designs for substations, access roads, drainage systems, and other network-related infrastructure. Support project managers in the planning and execution of capital and maintenance projects across the Endeavour Energy network. Prepare engineering documentation including drawings, specifications, design reports, and cost estimates. Conduct site inspections, condition assessments, and construction support activities to ensure compliance with standards, safety requirements, and project objectives. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure high-quality project outcomes. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, engineering standards, and asset management strategies. Ensure all work aligns with Endeavour Energy’s safety culture, environmental commitments, and regulatory obligations. About You Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. 3–6 years of relevant civil engineering experience, ideally within utilities, infrastructure, or construction. Working knowledge of Australian Standards, local council requirements, and industry practices related to civil design. Experience preparing civil engineering designs and reports – earthworks, stormwater detention and drainage, analysis of vehicle turn paths, pavement design. Current NSW driver’s licence and willingness to travel to project sites. NSW construction white card Desirable Criteria Experience in the electricity distribution, transmission, or broader energy sector. Familiarity with substation or utility‑related civil works. Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, Auto turn or similar. Chartered status (CPEng) or working towards.
