How you’ll make a difference Contribute to the delivery of safe, sustainable, and reliable civil infrastructure for the community, providing detailed designs, drawings, and documentation across roads, earthworks, stormwater, utilities, and related works, while ensuring outputs are buildable and compliant. Apply technical expertise to solve complex design challenges that comply with Australian Standards, client requirements, and relevant authority specifications. Coordinate seamlessly with engineers and project teams in a highly integrated environment, while upholding design/drafting standards and quality, to deliver to agreed scope, budget, and schedule. Drive continuous improvement by refining standards, workflows, and design practices. Leveraging the capability and capacity of AECOM’s network through workshare. Qualifications The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered. The qualities that help you thrive Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering Design (or similar) desirable. Ideally, 3+ years’ experience in civil engineering design/drafting within a multidisciplinary environment. Practical experience applying AustRoads and TfNSW standards in civil design. Strong oral and written communication skills; clear, concise documentation and stakeholder engagement. Experience using 12D and/or Civil3D for design and drafting respectively. Competency with AutoCAD, ProjectWise, ACC. Familiarity with Bluebeam, Revizto, and other specialist software beneficial.
