Description
We are seeking to appoint a Civil Designer in a full-time permanent position in Canberra. Reporting to the Design Lead, the Civil Designer will contribute to delivering innovative solutions in all facets of land, urban, transport and subdivision projects in this region. This role will suit an experienced 12D Designer who has worked on civil projects in Australia. Our approach to community development consulting covers master planned communities, mixed-use developments, parks, recreation facilities, and streetscapes. We activate urban downtowns, suburban centers, small towns, and rural areas—and the multimodal corridors that connect us to the places we work, live, and thrive. The role Preparing conceptual and detailed designs using 12D (land, urban, transport and subdivisions) Interpreting civil design requirements State Government, Local Government Authorities and private sector clients Interfacing with associated disciplines such as planning, survey, traffic, electrical and landscaping Interacting with clients regarding project needs ensuring that expert and quality service is delivered Collaborating with diverse teams nationally About you Demonstrated civil design/drafting experience within a consulting environment Relevant qualifications Demonstrated experience using 12D Familiarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirements A commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional development What we offer Along with a competitive salary we offer many other benefits to ensure your professional development & wellbeing is ongoing.
