Job Description We're looking for a proactive drafter to join our team. Working under the guidance of Senior Drafters and Engineers, this role is well suited to someone looking to further develop their technical capability within a collaborative, professional environment. Key Responsibilities Liaise closely with Project Managers, Engineers and Design teams to produce drawings delivered on time, on budget and to client specifications Prepare and review drawings to ensure compliance with drafting standards and specifications Present drawings to internal teams, clients and consultants, and prepare amendments as required Provide technical drafting input and contribute to design on a variety of civil and urban development projects Utilise Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) systems effectively (AutoCAD / Revit) Assist with Bills of Quantities for subdivisional infrastructure, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Work with statutory authorities and comply with council and regulatory standards Maintain high-quality documentation in line with Egis’ quality management systems Support project documentation and undertake administrative tasks related to drawing production Build positive working relationships and contribute to a collaborative team culture Qualifications 2–4 years’ experience in a drafting role or related field Diploma in Civil Engineering or other relevant tertiary qualification Sound understanding of drafting principles and civil design documentation Solid working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit Experience working within a quality management system Additional Information Egis is committed to creating an inclusive, flexible, and values-led workplace.
