Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Draftsman with a strong background in civil and interior fit-out drafting. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 7 years of proven UAE experience and be proficient in preparing detailed drawings, site layouts, and shop drawings for civil and interior fit-out projects, ensuring compliance with local authority regulations and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:Drafting & Documentation:

• Prepare accurate and detailed architectural, structural, and civil shop drawings for construction and interior fit-out projects.
• Modify and update drawings based on site conditions, consultant comments, and design revisions.
• Develop As-Built drawings and maintain drawing logs as per project timelines.
• Ensure all drawings are aligned with project specifications, authority regulations, and engineering standards.

Coordination & Site Support:

• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, project managers, and subcontractors to gather required data.
• Visit project sites when necessary to verify and take accurate measurements.
• Support QA/QC and project teams in technical drawing-related queries or discrepancies.

Authority Approvals & Standards:

• Prepare submission drawings for Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DEWA, and other local authorities.
• Ensure drawings meet UAE codes, building regulations, and client-specific requirements.

Software Proficiency:

• Use AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other relevant drafting/design software efficiently.
• Ensure files are saved and maintained in an organized and retrievable manner on company systems.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related discipline.
• Minimum 7+ years of drafting experience in the UAE, with hands-on work in both civil and interior fit-out projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software tools.
• Familiar with UAE local authority standards and submission procedures.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailing for civil and interior works.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and coordinate across teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Revit, 3D Modeling, and BIM (an advantage).
• Experience with villa, commercial, retail, hospitality, or mixed-use projects in the UAE.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, MEP, and structural drawings.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Working Conditions:

• Office-based with occasional site visits as required.
• Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and coordination across teams.
