CIVIL DRAINER

Shamrock Civil Engineering is a reputable mid-tier civil construction contractor with well-established connections in the civil construction and mining industries. We are currently seeking a Civil Drainer available for an immediate start.

You will be based in Adelaide, reporting directly to the Site Supervisor and can look forward to duties that include but are not limited to:

• Studying specifications to determine the layout and materials required.
• Maintains and Designs below ground drainage systems e.g. storm or sewerage.
• Ensure work is to the standard required by supervisor and clients.
• Maintain tools and equipment so they are in an efficient and safe operating condition.
• Be aware of working in close proximity of plant and machinery.
• Ensure the work site is always left in a safe condition e.g. Fences around gully pits, manholes and trenches.
• Ensure proper use of equipment and materials.
• Attend Tool Box, Safety Meetings, and other meetings as required.

You will hold possession of QLD (C) class drivers’ licence, with 3-5 years’ experience in civil construction and be able to demonstrate the following:

• A sound understanding of the construction industry including modern construction techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member.
