CARMARTHENSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL IS A HIGH PERFORMING, VIBRANT AND FORWARD-THINKING LOCAL AUTHORITY THAT IS CONSTANTLY LOOKING TO IMPROVE, AND IS COMMITTED TO MAINTAINING ITS EXCELLENT REPUTATION FOR DELIVERING FIRST CLASS SERVICES.
We are strengthening our team of Civil Enforcement Officers and require personable, confident and customer focused Officers to join us.
Our Civil Enforcement Officers patrol an extensive highway network enforcing on-street parking restrictions and helping to manage our off-street car parks. This involves dealing with customer enquiries, issuing Penalty Charge Notices where necessary, checking pay & display ticket machines, checking road markings and traffic signs and driving our camera enforcement vehicle.
We are looking for outstanding people who enjoy helping the public but also have the personal resilience and capability to manage difficult situations should they arise.
Ideally you will already have formal City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 qualifications in Civil Parking Enforcement but training can also be given.
The posts are based in our offices at Carmarthen but a degree of flexibility will be required to other cover areas when required.
If you believe that you are the outstanding candidate that we are looking for, then we would really like to hear from you! We particularly welcome female applicants and those from an ethnic minority.
