Description

Seeking an extremely motivated hands on graduate engineer (or site engineer) to join an ever growing company in construction foundation systems for bridges, basement car parks, shoring wall systems, retaining walls and the likes in Sydney.
This role will provide an excellent stepping stone to practicality and first hand into the world of construction for foundation works in Piling, Anchoring, Shotcreting and Excavation.
To be considered, applicants must have;
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- Ideally have had some encounters with on-site experience during university
- Strong leadership and organization qualities
- Ability to think quickly and react accordingly
- Must have good communication and team work skills
- Proficient in AUTOCAD & Civil 3D design software;
- Knowledge and experience in quantity estimation
- Excellent in verbal and written communication skills in negotiating, supervisory and leadership combined with the ability to delegate
- WHS aware and competent

Job Duties:

  • Consult blueprints, designs, and client instructions to develop construction plans for the team
  • Manage construction sites, ensuring that workers adhere to construction plans and safety codes
  • Work with key stakeholders (e.g. owners, developers, contractors) to ensure project completion within budget and deadlines
  • Manage procurement, tendering and bidding processes
  • Estimate costs for multiple civil constructions projects including quantity take-off and pricing.
