Job Description
AECOM is seeking a talented and highly motivated Civil Engineer to join the Transportation team in the Murray, Utah office.
This position is expected to begin as soon as possible.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering focusing on Transportation Engineering, or a related discipline.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate
  • Experience or knowledge of Transportation projects.
  • Knowledge and experience using CADD and industry-standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as MicroStation or AutoCAD).
  • Proficient with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer (ORD) or similar applications.
Responsibilities
  • Builds analytic and design skills.
  • Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
  • Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
  • Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
  • Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
  • Performs work under an agreed-upon budget and schedule under supervision.
