Job Description AECOM is currently seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Transportation team in the Savannah, GA area. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support a variety of civil engineering projects associated with the Georgia Ports Authority. Develops and strengthens analytical and engineering design skills through active participation in project assignments and technical tasks Performs engineering design activities under the guidance and supervision of an experienced engineer, ensuring adherence to applicable standards and project requirements Prepares detailed designs, calculations, technical reports, sketches, diagrams, schematic layouts, and final construction documents in support of project deliverables Assists with the collection, compilation, and analysis of engineering data to support project planning, design development, and technical decision-making. Utilizes industry-standard engineering software and tools to perform calculations, modeling, drafting, and problem-solving for routine engineering challenges Coordinates assigned tasks to ensure work is completed in accordance with established project budgets, schedules, and quality standards under supervision Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering U.S. Citizenship is required, due to the nature of the work Valid U.S Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review Ability to obtain TWIC - Transportation Workers Identification Card Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Experience using MicroStation Minimum of two (2) years of experience assisting on civil engineering projects Additional Information Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position Relocation is not available for this position About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
