Job Description Within our Infrastructure business line, we are currently seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Madrid office. We are working on stages as early as feasibility studies up to detailed designs on a wide range of projects, either as standalone civil infrastructures team or as part of multidisciplinary teams. Our clients are from the private and public sector and include long term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors. You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most important Civil projects in Spain and across Europe. The responsibilities of this role include: Senior technical resource and advisor within the team, providing expert guidance on civil infrastructure projects. Leads the development of design procedures and methodologies to ensure high-quality, cost-effective outcomes. Provides specialized technical input to studies and designs in their area of expertise. Independently manages complex civil engineering tasks, ensuring alignment with project budgets and schedules. Oversees the preparation of design calculations, technical reports, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards. Conducts and leads interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables. Develops and reviews construction cost estimates and technical effort projections. Performs quality control reviews of design calculations, drawings, and documentation produced by other engineers. Prepares and reviews technical specification sections for civil infrastructure components. Contributes to the development of engineering budgets and schedules, ensuring project requirements are met. Mentors and provides technical leadership to junior and mid-level engineers. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in civil infrastructure projects. Fluent in English (oral and written) Knowledge of German (oral and written) will be considered favorably Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or equivalent geometric design software.
