Bureau Veritas Iraq is looking to hire a Civil Engineer based in Erbil for an on-site position. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.• Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering.• In-depth knowledge of civil/structural design, codes, and standards (national and international).• Proven experience in design review, value engineering, and constructability analysis.• Familiarity with procurement and tender processes for large-scale infrastructure projects.• Strong communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.• Proficiency in engineering design tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro). • Coordinate and guide all activities related to civil design for the project.• Ensure design consistency with national and international standards, as well as the operator’s specifications.• Perform value engineering assessments to optimize project cost and performance.• Conduct constructability reviews to ensure designs can be efficiently executed in the field.• Provide guidance during the development of detailed designs, including preparation of technical specifications, cost estimates, and schedules.• Collect and verify required initial data for detailed design development.SHAPING A WORLD OF TRUST - WHAT WE VALUE AT BV We create trust between businesses and we are committed to cultivating an open and inclusive environment wherever we operate and so do our employees.
