JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or a related field
  • Minimum 1-3 years of proven experience in data centres or the construction field
  • With experience in precast component planning, installation and coordination will be added advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and civil engineering software/tools (e.g., AutoCAD)
    Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and within a tea
Responsibilities
  • Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and design requirements to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant codes and standards, highlighting any discrepancies
  • Prepare and align the project schedule with the Project Master Schedule and notify the Project Manager of any potential issues that could affect timelines or budget
  • Monitor daily site progress and prepare detailed reports on tasks completed
  • Develop and submit Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and Safe Work Procedures for site operations; propose any required temporary works
  • Plan and organise site work activities, including utilities, materials, and machinery, ensuring everything is in place for smooth execution
  • Coordinate with the design team on any technical or site issues and attend design and weekly meetings to stay aligned with project requirements
  • Participate in internal coordination meetings with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project progress
  • Lead daily tool-box meetings and pre-start meetings, providing guidance to supervisors and workers to ensure adherence to the work plan and safety standards
  • Review and sign PTW (Permit to Work), ensuring that safety protocols are followed and take responsibility for any violations or incidents
  • Conduct site inspections with Clients, RE/RTO, and close any RFI comments
  • Prepare material requisitions, and coordinate with Purchaser on material deliveries, ensuring quality and quantity compliance
  • Supervise daily operations on-site and report directly to Project Manager
  • Monitor and approve worker timecards, tracking attendance and productivity
  • Ensure all site works are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with project specifications and drawings
  • Oversee instrumentation readings and report abnormal findings to management for timely resolution
  • Maintain effective communication with RE/RTO, and Project Manager regarding site activities and status updates
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with all project stakeholders, including team members, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Ensure all activities are in accordance with company policies and procedures
