SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with transportation or construction emphasis.
Obtain Wisconsin’s Engineering in Training License after graduation.
Experience in the following areas are beneficial: construction schedules, construction inspection, construction plans, estimating, FieldManager or AASTHOWare, AutoCAD Civil3D.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide transportation construction engineering support in the Northeast and/or North Central Regions of Wisconsin by managing projects, supervising construction activities, conducting inspections, and performing other related tasks. On any given day you’ll:
Perform construction observation of sanitary sewers, storm sewers, water mains, street construction including curb and gutter, asphalt pavement, concrete sidewalk and pavement.
Maintain project records, including daily observation logs, time and materials records and asbuilt drawings.
Communication and coordinate with project participants including project owners, project managers, contractors & materials testing laboratories.
