Description
Civil Engineer What’s the mahi? We’re looking for an experienced Civil Engineer who enjoys getting into the technical detail while keeping the bigger picture in mind. You’ll work closely with internal and external clients and project teams to shape high-quality, low-carbon outcomes across Aotearoa’s Energy and Industrial environment. You’ll be part of a collaborative, flexible team, working on projects that are technically challenging, genuinely interesting, and often a little bit unconventional. You will also be expected to collaborate with offshore teams to deliver well. Project examples you will work on include industrial infrastructure, fuel terminals and manufacturing plants. What you’ll do: Bringing your strong client relationships and commercial acumen. Work with the guidance of senior engineers while taking ownership of projects and/or defined design packages. Civil engineering design and documentation, prepare and review drawings, specifications and schedules using BIM and design software (e.g. CIV3D, CAD). Prepare, deliver, and review design reports and key technical outputs. Conduct earthwork, stormwater, bunds, underground services, pavements design and do construction monitoring and observation during implementation. What you’ll bring: 2-5 years’ experience working on civil projects with a strong understanding of standards and documentation compliance. Experience undertaking civil design and project coordination and delivery. Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or equivalent/similar). Proficiency in Civil 3D, CAD & Microsoft Office Suite, including design of earthworks, stormwater systems and underground services. Strong technical capability, commercial awareness, and team engagement skills. Ready to bring ideas to life?
