Summary The Project Engineer position is an opportunity to work on a team on focused on commercial land development of 1-5 acre sites. Each week provides new challenges in site planning, grading, utility design, and stormwater management. We're looking for someone who is ready to grow in their career-- serving clients and working with great coworkers! Work Location: On-site with flexible work arrangements Pay Rate Type: Hourly with overtime rate of 1.5x base pay for all hours worked over 40 in a week (Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications) Responsibilities Possess strong design fundamentals and deliver complete documents at project milestones Assist Project Managers with design coordination between clients, grading contractors, geotech, and other disciplines Prepare a variety of plans from concept drawings to construction documents Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Engineer in Training (EIT) certification 0-4 years of land development experience (minimum 3 months previous experience) Entrepreneurial, collaborative, and driven to exceed expectations Physical Demands and Work Environment Work is primarily performed in an office environment Ability to occasionally move equipment/objects weighing up to 10 pounds Benefit Information Regular full-time employees will have access to: Medical, dental, and vision plans HSA and FSA options Employer-paid short-term and long-term disability coverage Employer-paid life insurance and accidental death & dismemberment insurance Employee assistance program Voluntary benefits such as additional life insurance coverage, accident coverage, and critical illness coverage Paid time off and holidays Retirement 401(k) plan with company match Sambatek, LLC is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in its workforce.
