Michigan engineering firm specializing in athletic and recreational facilities projects is hiring a Civil Engineer for their office in the Detroit area! Responsibilities: Ability to grow in organization with project management/design responsibilities Work on projects from planning/design through completion Prepare project plan documents/reports As part of the design team, plan, schedule and coordinate technical aspect of projects Communicate/resolve technical issues Present/explain designs Review/respond to construction RFIs and submittals Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture 3+ years of experience Project Management experience preferred Sports/recreation design experience (including Athletic Fields) preferred Strong knowledge of site grading concepts Knowledge/interpretation of code compliance requirements and industry standards and all areas of design/design methods Experience with schematic design, design development and construction documents Proficient in relevant drafting/design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat Salary is commensurate with experience.
