WHAT’S REQUIRED?

The ideal candidate for this Civil Engineer role will have most of the following:

  • Strong experience in civil engineering, ideally within a consultancy environment
  • Experience with flood risk assessments, drainage strategies, and SuDS design
  • Expertise in WinDES, with working knowledge of Civil 3D or PDS highly desirable
  • A relevant Civil Engineering degree, with CEng (MICE or CIWEM) or working towards it
  • Understanding of current policy and guidance around planning and drainage

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

This is an excellent Civil Engineer role, joining a well-established consultancy with a strong reputation in sustainable infrastructure. The Civil Engineer will work on projects involving flood risk assessments, drainage strategies (foul and surface water including SuDS), and the design of surface water management and flood alleviation schemes. Experience using WinDES is essential, and familiarity with Civil 3D or PDS for highways design.
