Invistec’s Team continues to grow! Invistec’s Edmonton Office is currently seeking to fill a new Engineer In Training (E.I.T.) role. This person will be part of a high-paced, energetic, and collaborative team working on a variety of residential and commercial land development projects. This position requires a motivated and enthusiastic team player who is able to take initiative, work in a team environment, and also work independently. This position may include some evening work and occasional travel.

DESCRIPTION OF THE OPPORTUNITIES:

  • Support all project phases with various administrative tasks.
  • Monitor and update project schedules, working closely with Project and Construction Managers.
  • Track construction progress and ensure alignment with timelines.
  • Attend project meetings and document project clarifications and instructions.
  • Prepare and manage safety documentation with a high level of accuracy.
  • Monitor construction sites to ensure efficient and accurate delivery based on design.
  • Communicate with contractors to resolve on-site issues.
  • Identify critical paths and allocate manpower effectively.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and support project service delivery.
  • Assist in verifying contractor progress claims and prepare progress payment certificates.
  • Support preparation of tender packages, including quantity take-offs and descriptions.
  • Produce project closeout documentation (CCC and FAC).
  • Perform surveying tasks as needed.
