JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Civil Engineer at The Trustee for KEYCON Construction Unit Trust, you will be an integral part of our construction team, leading the design, planning, and execution of residential projects. Your expertise will ensure our projects meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency while aligning with client requirements. You will work closely with architects, project managers, and other team members to deliver superior outcomes for our customers.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Civil Engineering.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in civil engineering or construction.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, design software, and project management tools.
  • Experience conducting feasibility studies, site analysis, and environmental assessments.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.
  • Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze site locations and conduct surveys to determine the feasibility and requirements of civil engineering projects.
  • Undertake calculations, design plans, and develop specifications for civil engineering projects.
  • Provide solutions to design-related issues, ensuring all projects meet structural and regulatory standards.
  • Study, evaluate, and report on the environmental implications of projects to ensure compliance with existing regulations.
  • Determine construction methods, materials, and quality standards for projects.
  • Collaborate with the construction team to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Supervise construction work, ensuring compliance with engineering designs and safety protocols.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including blueprints, technical reports, and compliance certifications.
  • Implement innovative solutions to improve construction efficiency and sustainability.
