We undertake small to large sized road work, road widenings, pavement and car park construction projects, which include excavation and subgrade preparation, sub base and base gravel preparation, kerbing, asphalt, lighting, line marking and signage.
Our road construction experience ranges from flexible pavements with asphalt seal to rigid designs requiring a concrete finish. We have in-depth contract administration, health and safety planning, environmental planning, construction planning and construction methodology that are aligned with industry best practice. We can also provide complex traffic management.
The Clientele is on the rise from both government and commercial industries. We are now looking to hire a Civil Site Engineer on a full-time position to join our friendly team located in Moorebank NSW 2170

Your new role as a civil site engineer will have following key responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Determining construction methods, materials and quality standards, and drafting and interpreting specifications, drawings, plans, construction methods and procedures. Studying architectural and engineering drawings and specifications to estimate total costs, and preparing detailed cost plans and estimates as tools to assist in budgetary control
  • Project Execution: Oversee daily site activities of ground workers and labor to ensure the daily tasks are completed efficiently and within allocated durations and budgets. Organizing and directing site labor and the delivery of construction materials, plant and equipment, and establishing detailed programs for the coordination of site activities
  • Resource Management: Allocating adequate resources to projects and construction teams on site. Monitoring changes to designs, assessing effects on cost, and measuring, valuing and negotiating variations to designs.
  • Risk Management: Address on site challenges, risks and implement timely solutions and risk mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks and inspections to ensure that project adheres to contractual and regulatory requirements. Ensure that construction quality meets the industry best practices and relevant quality standards.
  • Communication and Coordination: Coordinate and execute the public domain works such as kerb & gutter installation, footpaths, stormwater drainage, road repair, road sign installations, landscaping and paving etc. Coordinate with Clients, Subcontractors, and stakeholders to meet project goals and expectations effectively. Provide regular updates and detailed reports to clients, senior management and other stakeholders such as local council.
  • Procurement and Logistics: Support the procurement process by sourcing materials, evaluating supplier quotes, and ensuring timely delivery to maintain project schedules.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Qualification in Engineering-Civil Engineering
  • 3 years previous experience working as a Site engineer
  • Exceptional communication and interpretation skills
  • Previous experience working with paving, roads and councils
  • Good time management and scheduling skills
  • Strong eye for detail, first class literacy, numeracy and communication skills
