JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing various civil engineering projects. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, project management skills, and proficiency in relevant software tools. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

SKILLS

  • Strong project management abilities to effectively coordinate multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit, Civil 3D, and other CAD software.
  • Solid understanding of system design principles related to civil engineering.
  • Excellent mathematical skills for calculations and problem-solving.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

    Pay: £38,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Design and oversee construction projects including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments.
  • Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Revit.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets while ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Utilise Civil 3D for system design and analysis.
  • Perform calculations using Mathcad to support design decisions.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for stakeholders.
