Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee supervision, coordination, and quality control of all civil works—including infrastructure, earthworks, structural concrete, utilities, and roadworks—across real estate development projects from design to handover and DLP, ensuring regulatory compliance and high construction standards.

1. Supervise execution of civil works across multiple projects (buildings finishing, earthworks, structural, roads, utilities).
2. Review civil designs for compliance, feasibility, and coordination with other disciplines.
3. Lead civil site teams, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to project timelines.
4. Oversee contractor performance, shop drawing approvals, and material submittals.
5. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and Sharjah authorities for smooth execution and compliance.
6. Assist in tender review, scope alignment, and technical bid evaluations.
7. Monitor construction progress, issue site reports, and support QA/QC inspections.
8. Manage civil-related handover, DLP rectifications, and final documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 15+ years total experience, 5+ years in senior site/coordinator roles.
• Strong UAE experience with Sharjah Municipality and infrastructure authorities.
• Expertise in roads, infrastructure, concrete works, and construction supervision.

Roles & Responsibilities

Site Execution

1. Supervise RCC works, foundations, slabs, pits, trenches, tanks and other civil works as per approved drawings and specifications.
2. Check reinforcement, formwork, dimensions, levels and embedded items before concreting.
3. Monitor contractor manpower, materials, equipment and daily productivity.
4. Track actual progress against agreed targets, identify delays and ensure necessary recovery actions are implemented.
5. Understand the BOQ and verify executed quantities against approved drawings and actual site work.
6. Check and certify contractor progress bills based on actual measured and completed quantities.
7. Identify and verify any variation or additional work before it is considered for billing.
8. Supervise machine and heavy equipment foundations, ensuring correct dimensions, levels, openings and embedded components.
9. Coordinate pedestal preparation, anchor bolt fixing, alignment and levels with the PEB contractor.
10. Ensure foundations are completed and handed over according to the PEB erection sequence.
11. Ensure execution complies with approved drawings, specifications and required quality standards.
12. Coordinate inspections, RFIs, technical clarifications and testing with consultants and contractors.
13. Review structural, architectural, PEB and relevant MEP drawings for site coordination.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification & Experience

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
2. 5–10 years of experience, preferably in industrial/manufacturing plant construction.
3. UAE/GCC experience preferred.
4. Strong knowledge of RCC works, machine foundations, PEB foundations/anchor bolts, drainage and underground works.
5. Strong understanding of BOQ, site measurement, quantity verification and contractor billing.
6. Ability to read structural, architectural and coordination drawings.
7. AutoCAD and MS Office proficiency.
8. Strong site execution and contractor management skills.
9. Preference: Experience in manufacturing plants, industrial facilities, PEB buildings or heavy machinery foundation projects.
