Job Description We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated Civil Engineer with a passion for renewable energy to lead clients, projects, and portfolios as a Project Manager and their projects throughout the region. The Project Manager will work closely with our core renewable team and will manage the project responsibilities. Responsibilities: Planning, scheduling, developing, coordinating, directing, and managing a variety of renewable energy projects and portfolios. Preparing various types of related reports and studies and securing local approvals and permits for projects. Contribute to marketing of the firm and development of new business by initiating relationships with new clients, maintaining relationships with current clients, and key individuals of other organizations and companies. Developing and evaluating plans and criteria for renewable energy projects as well as planning and coordinating activities to be carried out by others, including in-house engineers, designers, surveyors, and outside specialty consultants. Develop an understanding of local/state jurisdictional requirements for utility-scale, distributed generation and behind-the-meter renewable energy applications. Travel is anticipated to project locations and industry conferences. Requirements Qualified candidates will: Excel at contributing to all phases of Renewable Energy and other Civil Engineering projects Development of schematic drawings Working within teams collaboratively Producing effective and high-quality drawings to be issued for construction Steering projects through the municipal or state approval process Supporting projects throughout construction as they progress to commissioning The ability to communicate effectively using verbal, graphic, and written means is paramount and a necessity for this position. Assist with proposal writing and business development. Manage mid-level and entry-level staff.
