Responsibilities

Based in Condell Park, the duties and responsibilities associated with this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Generate Bar marks and Accessories lists in self-developed software resulting in accurate production of Schedules in a timely manner upon examination of Autocad, structural and architectural drawings in accordance with Client specifications and relevant Australian Standards.
  • Prepare and communicate the status of Scheduled materials & forecasts on future project material to the Clients and the Project Co-coordinator in basic spreadsheet formats.
  • Ensure Scheduled Supply to Clients are completed to the nominated Call Ups dates enabling the durations required for Operations and Delivery of goods to suit the Client project program.
  • Actively pursue critical project information and IFC drawings to maintain continuity of supply, when operating under tight timelines.
  • Actively liaise with or via the Project Co-ordinator to Production, Despatch, Sales and Accounts personnel to ensure the Client and needs are being managed effectively.
  • Fully understand project scope of works and confirm any variations to Client and Key Account Manager for pricing or availability.
  • Effectively resolve minor site claims and issues. For any major claims refer to Sales Manager - Construction for support in a timely manner.
  • Ensure effective communication of any concerning issues with Scheduling Manager prior to addressing with Clients personnel.
  • Administer site correspondence and record in a comprehensive manner, utilizing the Project Co-ordinator for assistance.
  • Ability to quickly and correctly analyse potential and actual on-site issues and where possible offer suggestions of practical and cost effective solutions to these issues.
  • Attend Client project kick off meetings and undertake site visits. Always be accompanied by the Project Co-ordinator or nominee to ensure support and another set of ears & eyes to the proceedings.
  • Actively contribute to the Reinforcing Team by assisting other Schedulers and or Production personnel as requested or directed,
  • Ensure Scheduling activities are carried out within defined parameters to minimize wastage and reduce any need for rework whilst maximizing project output.
