QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD, AT A MINIMUM, POSSESS:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• 10 or more years of relevant experience in steel design and manufacturing, preferably in the Petro Chemical sector.
• An understanding of steel fabrication, welding procedures, connection design, and quality assurance regarding the products.
• Working competency using IdeaStatica software.
• Working competency using AutoCAD or other drafting software.
• Organizational and time management skills to ensure project schedules are maintained.
• Licensure in multiple states, preferred.

• Interpretation of customer specifications, design criteria, and drawings.
• Application of industry codes and governance regarding design of products.
• Coordination with drafting and detailing for the conversion of design information into drawings.
• Communication with customers to gain clarifications and technical decisions where necessary.
