DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a Civil Engineer to join our Community Development team in our recently established Toowoomba office. In this role you will manage the civil design and documentation on a variety of urban, land and subdivision projects in both the public and private sectors, across an extensive regional client portfolio. You will be involved in resolving design constraints, coordinating projects, interfacing with various disciplines and delivering projects with the support of a multi-disciplinary design team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, coordination and project management of urban, land and subdivision projects, from feasibility through to construction
  • Prepare technical reports and specifications
  • Provide technical expertise to clients and support projects
  • Manage projects including scheduling and the preparation of project budgets
  • Coordinate between disciplines on multidisciplinary projects
  • Undertake and manage site inspections
  • Contribute to the development of Stantec’s knowledge and skills in civil engineering including planning, design, and construction
  • Maintain existing and develop new, trusted relationships with key clients
  • Assist in the securing and delivery of projects by way of business development and client relationship management
