POSITION OVERVIEW

We’re seeking a skilled and versatile Civil/Structural Engineer to support the design and delivery of commercial, residential, and public infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to lead technical efforts, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to high-impact work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred)
  • 5–10 years of experience in civil/structural design
  • PE license in California (or EIT actively pursuing PE)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and structural analysis tools
  • Strong understanding of seismic design, grading, drainage, and permitting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
Responsibilities
  • Perform structural and civil design calculations using applicable codes (CBC, ASCE, AISC, etc.)
  • Prepare and revise engineering plans, specifications, and construction documents
  • Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and geotechnical teams to ensure integrated design
  • Conduct site visits and support construction administration, including RFIs and submittal reviews
  • Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and structural analysis software (e.g., RISA, STAAD) to develop design packages
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients and agencies
  • Assist in permitting, plan check responses, and jurisdictional coordination
  • Contribute to internal quality control and process improvement initiatives
